Joyful scenes greeted the release of this year’s GCSE results, a triumph for the Fifth Form. 47.4% of all grades were at A*, with a further 34.6% at A. The total for A* - B was 95%, with 99% scoring A*-C.
KGS A-level students are celebrating a superb set of results. 18% of passes were at the demanding new A* grade, with a further 41% at A. The cumulative total of 59% A/A* exceeds last year’s 55% As and the previous year’s 57%. With 88% of passes at A*/A/B and 98% A*-C, these can make a strong claim to be the School’s best ever results.
Third Year opening bowler Liam Gardner cleaned up in the U15’s match against an unfortunate Heathlands School on 8th June taking an astonishing 9 wickets for 10 runs, helping KGS to an 8 wicket victory.
