The KGS Accelerator
Launched in September 2025 and built into the Lower Sixth timetable, KGS Accelerator is an exciting addition to the academic curriculum, helping students develop a ‘future smart’ mindset for the workplaces of tomorrow.
Every fortnight, inspiring alumni return to KGS to deliver TED-style sessions in the Theatre. Drawing on experience across the creative industries, technology, finance, aviation, sport, healthcare and academia, they discuss their entrepreneurial or non-linear career pathways and the importance of key transferable skills.
Presentations often centre on: “What I would tell my 16-year-old self.”
The programme encourages students to think differently about their future pathways and to develop the transferable skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving workplace.
