At KGS we are part of a long tradition of education which has taken place on this site for over four hundred years. We also inhabit a bustling twenty first century environment, which continually reminds us of the need to ensure that the education we provide is tailored to the needs of the modern world.

Founded in 1561, we are delighted that The Queen opened the landmark Queen Elizabeth II Building in November 2005, which has propelled us well and truly into the twenty first century. I hope you will be encouraged to visit us either for a personal meeting with me or at one of our Open Events: you will be most welcome to meet the people who make it all happen.”
