We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and well-qualified Teachers into our Chemistry and Physics departments. The applicants will ideally be able to teach to GCSE and there is an opportunity to teach up to A level and Oxbridge entry. Experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply.

There is also an opportunity to be involved in the co-curricular life of the School relevant to your area/s of interest (Science Club, STEAM, Sport, Computer Science, CCF, DofE and lots more). Staff are remunerated through the Kingston Grammar School scale which tracks significantly above the national scale for teachers.

Boathouse Facility Manager and Coach

Are you an experienced boatman and rowing coach looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Boatman/Rowing Coach to work at the Kingston Grammar School Boat Club on the banks of the River Thames at Thames Ditton.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) which will include 25-30 hours per week undertaking boatman/boathouse duties and the remainder of the time assisting with coaching.

You must possess excellent carpentry and DIY skills for repairing boats/hulls, have a passion for the sport of rowing and ideally have experience as a rowing coach or be prepared to undertake training.

BOATMAN/COACH JOB DESCRIPTION

Actor In Residence

Are you a professional actor with some time and interest in developing and inspiring young talent in a School environment?

We are looking for an inspirational, creative and hard-working professional actor to assist our Drama Department in supporting our Drama Scholarship programme and to provide individual and group tuition to our drama students.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Drama in Theatre or Acting, and possess the ability to stimulate students and challenge their acting skills and abilities. While a PGCE or equivalent is not essential, previous experience of working with young people, preferably as a professional actor, tutor or youth theatre leader is desirable.

Hours of work are flexible and to be negotiated with the Director of Drama.

Morning & Evening Cleaner

Kingston Grammar School is looking for an enthusiastic cleaner to join their busy team.

£9.72 per hour, plus generous pension contributions and other benefits.

Hours of Work

Morning Shift - 5:30am to 7:45am and Evening Shift – 4pm to 7pm Monday to Friday term-time only.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience of providing a high standard of cleaning in a work environment and be able to work with a minimum of supervision and as part of a team. The position can be either split into two separate shifts for two people or one person can do both shifts.
