Are you a passionate historian who enjoys sharing your strong subject knowledge with able and enthusiastic students? Then this role is for you.
We are looking for a first class teacher to join our vibrant and exceptional History department. The successful applicant will be able to teach throughout the School, up to and including A level and Oxbridge entry. Experience and willingness to teach a variety of topics at GCSE and A Level will be a distinct advantage, as will an ability to enthuse lower school pupils through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. Experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply.
This role also provides the opportunity to be involved in the co-curricular life of the School. Depending on your area/s of interest the co-curricular options include Senior and Junior History Society, CCF, DofE and lots more. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to attend a number of day and residential trips with the History department.
Staff are remunerated through the Kingston Grammar School scale which tracks significantly above the national scale for teachers. Kingston Grammar School requires a highly motivated and experienced teacher of Physical Educational at all levels. The successful candidate will show vision and leadership qualities and possess a high level of administrative ability, together with the qualities necessary to motivate and encourage both pupils and staff. The candidate will be educated to degree level or above and may also have other relevant professional qualifications.
The School has an excellent performance and participation Games Programme in a variety of sports and it is expected that the successful candidate will make a significant contribution to this. After-school practices and Saturday Sport commitment is expected for three terms. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and committed individual.
