We have an exciting opportunity to join our well established teacher training programme. KGS English department is committed to ensuring our trainees become the best teacher they can be.

The two year fixed term contract KGS teacher training programme not only offers a salary whilst you are training but funding towards your PGCE course. In Year One you will work towards your PGCE with Buckingham University and in Year Two you will complete your Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) year while having the support of an experienced mentor from within the English department.

Whilst with us, you will be offered the opportunity to become involved in the wider life of the School through co-curricular activities such as debating, public speaking and book clubs.

We are looking to appoint a passionate and innovative teacher of English to join our lively and creative department. The ideal candidate will be able to teach throughout the school up to A-level and including Oxbridge entry. Experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply.

The English Department at Kingston Grammar School is happy, vibrant and innovative; they deliver a lively, creative, flexible and literature-based syllabus. Support Staff 

School Healthcare Assistant - Full Time

We looking to appoint a suitably experienced Healthcare Assistant to support the School Nurse with the health care needs of both our students and staff.

This is an ideal opportunity for an able and enthusiastic person to contribute to and provide strong support for the school’s medical/nursing provision.

At Kingston Grammar School there is a strong emphasis on the quality of pastoral care and therefore in addition to assisting the School Nurse with minor injuries and illnesses, you will be part of the pastoral support system within the School. Empathy with young people and an understanding of their emotional wellbeing is essential.
