Kingston Grammar School Golf Society
President | John Elvidge |
Captain | Daryl Evans |
Secretary | Richard Wickerson |
The Kingston Grammar School Golf Society – KGSGS – is a long-established and active group that holds 9 events a year at a range of good Surrey golf courses that have included Royal Wimbledon, Betchworth, Guildford, Surbiton, The Drift and Bramley. The ‘spirit’ of the Society is relaxed and friendly, not unduly competitive.
A singles knock-out event is organised each year and the Champion Golfer of the Year is awarded a putter used by Max Faulkner to win the 1950 Open!
The Society welcomes current and former students, parents of current and former students and others with a connection to the School. Golfers of any level are encouraged and official handicaps are not required.
Members may attend as few or as many events as they wish.
If you would like to receive further information please contact our Secretary, Richard Wickerson, at [email protected]
