KGS Drama Society
The Drama Society supports the Drama Department by running the bar at performances and productions. Funds raised contribute towards supporting students in performances both in school and festivals/events outside school. Funds also subsidise workshops, masterclasses and backstage/technical trips for interested students.
The Drama Society provides a wonderful opportunity for parents to become involved in the creative life of the School. If you feel enthusiastic about helping your child get the most out of their drama activities, please consider joining. You can complete an application form here. The Drama Society offers:
- the opportunity to support your child in Drama by helping run an interval bar during a show.
- the chance to meet other parents at social events.
- as much or as little participation as you wish.
- an insight into Drama at KGS.
THE DRAMATIC YEAR
There are many events throughout the school year which benefit from support the Society gives. These include:
- three outstanding productions a year (Lower School - First to Third Year, Upper School - Fourth and Fifth Year, and Sixth Form) involving over 150 students.
- House Drama and House Dance which are fun and popular events for all students.
